【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiesamethodoftestandcriteriafortheevaluationoftheabilityofapenetrationsealingsystemtomaintainthefireresistanceofaseparatingelementatthepositionatwhichithasbeenpenetratedbyaservice.Excludedarechimneys,airventilationsystems,fireratedventilationducts,fireratedserviceducts,shaftsandsmokeextractionducts.Supportingconstructionsareusedinthisdocumenttorepresentseparatingelementssuchaswallsorfloors.Thesesimulatetheinteractionbetweenthetestspecimenandtheseparatingelementintowhichthesealingsystemistobeinstalledinpractice.ThisdocumentisusedinconjunctionwithEN1363-1.Thepurposeofthistestdescribedinthisdocumentistoassess:a)theeffectofsuchpenetrationsontheintegrityandinsulationperformanceoftheseparatingelementconcerned;b)theintegrityandinsulationperformanceofthepenetrationsealingsystem;c)theinsulationperformanceofthepenetratingserviceorservices,andwherenecessary,theintegrityfailureofaservice.Noinformationcanbeimpliedbythetestconcerningtheinfluenceoftheinclusionofsuchpenetrationsandsealingsystemsontheloadbearingcapacityoftheseparatingelement.Itisnottheintentionofthistesttoprovidequantitativeinformationontherateofleakageofsmokeand/orhotgasesoronthetransmissionorgenerationoffumes.Suchphenomenashouldonlybenotedindescribingthegeneralbehaviouroftestspecimensduringthetest.Thistestdoesnotsupplyanyinformationontheabilityofthepenetrationsealingsystemtowithstandstresscausedbymovementsordisplacementsofthepenetratingservices.ExplanatorynotestothistestmethodaregiveninAnnexA.
