【摘要】:Anappropriatelydeveloped,documented,andexecutedguideisessentialforthepropercollectionandapplicationofboreholegeophysicallogs.Thebenefitsofitsuseincludeimprovingthefollowing:Selectionofloggingmethodsandequipment,Logqualityandreliability,andUsefulnessofthelogdataforsubsequentdisplayandinterpretation.Thisguideappliestocommonlyusedloggingmethods(seeTable1andTable2)forgeotechnicalinvestigations.Itisessentialthatpersonnel(see7.3.3)consultup-to-datetextbooksandreportsoneachoftheloggingtechniques,applications,andinterpretationmethods.Apartiallistofselectedpublicationsisgivenattheendofthisguide.Thisguideisnotmeanttodescribethespecificorstandardproceduresforrunningeachtypeofgeophysicallogandislimitedtomeasurementsinasingleborehole.1.1Thisguidecoversthedocumentationandgeneralproceduresnecessarytoplanandconductageophysicallogprogramascommonlyappliedtogeologic,engineering,ground-water,andenvironmental(hereafterreferredtoasgeotechnical)investigations.Itisnotintendedtodescribethespecificorstandardproceduresforrunningeachtypeofgeophysicallogandislimitedtomeasurementsinasingleborehole.Itisanticipatedthatstandardguideswillbedevelopedforspecificmethodssubsequenttothisguide.1.2Surfaceorshallow-depthnucleargagesformeasuringwatercontentorsoildensity(thatis,thosetypicallythoughtofasconstructionqualityassurancedevices),measurementswhiledrilling(MWD),conepenetrometertests,andloggingforpetroleumormineralsareexcluded.1.3Boreholegeophysicaltechniquesyielddirectandindirectmeasurementswithdepthofthe(1)physicalandchemicalpropertiesoftherockmatrixandfluidaroundtheborehole,(2)fluidcontainedintheborehole,and(3)constructionoftheborehole.
