【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeisrecommendedforuseintestingandmeasuringoperatingcharacteristicsofacousticemissionelectroniccomponentsorunits.(SeeAppendixX1foradescriptionofcomponentsandunits.)Itisnotintendedthatthispracticebeusedforroutinechecksofacousticemissioninstrumentation,butratherforperiodicevaluationorintheeventofamalfunction.Thesensorisnotaddressedinthisdocumentotherthansuggestingmethodsforstandardizingsystemgains(equalizingthemchanneltochannel)whensensorsarepresent.1.2Wherethemanufacturerprovidestestingandmeasuringdetailsinanoperatingandmaintenancemanual,themanufacturer'smethodsshouldbeusedinconjunctionwiththemethodsdescribedinthispractice.1.3Difficultorquestionableinstrumentationmeasurementsshouldbereferredtoelectronicsengineeringpersonnel.1.4Themethodssetforthinthispracticearenotintendedtobeeitherexclusiveorexhaustive.1.5Themethods(techniques)usedfortestingandmeasuringthecomponentsorunitsofacousticemissioninstrumentation,andtheresultsofsuchtestingandmeasuringshouldbedocumented.Documentationshouldconsistofphotographs,chartsorgraphs,calculations,andtabulationswhereapplicable.1.6AEsystemsthatusecomputerstocontrolthecollection,storage,display,anddataanalysisareincommonuse.Featuresofthecomputer-basedsystemsmightincludewaveformcollectionaswellasawideselectionofmeasurementparametersrelatingtotheAEsignal.Themanufacturerprovidesaspecificationforeachsystemthatspecifiestheoperatingrangeandconditionsforthesystem.Allcalibrationandacceptancetestingofcomputer-basedAEsystemsmustusethemanufacturer'sspecificationasaguide.Thispracticedoesnotcovertestingofthecomputerorcomputerperipherals.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
