【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesforthequantitativedeterminationofoxygenates,paraffins,olefins,naphthenes,andaromaticsinlow-olefinspark-ignitionenginefuelsbymultidimensionalgaschromatography.Eachhydrocarbontypecanbereportedeitherbycarbonnumber(see)orasatotalthroughC10,exceptforolefins,whichcanonlybereportedthroughC9.Higherboilinghydrocarbonscannotbereportedbytypeandarereportedasacompositegroup.Thelowerlimitofdetectionforasinglehydrocarboncomponentorcarbonnumbertypeis0.05mass%.Note1-TherecanbeanoverlapbetweentheC9andC10aromatics;however,thetotalisaccurate.IsopropylbenzeneisresolvedfromtheC8aromaticsandisincludedwiththeotherC9aromatics.NaphthaleneisdeterminedwiththeC11+components.Thistestmethodisapplicablefortotalolefinsintherangefrom0.05to13mass%.Thetestmethodcanquantitativelydetermineolefinsinsampleswheretheolefinconcentrationdoesnotexceed0.6%C4or4.0%C5or4.5%ofthecombinedC4andC5.Althoughtheprecisionforbenzenewasdeterminedintherangefrom0.3to1.0mass%,thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminebenzeneconcentrationsupto5.0mass%.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtodetermineindividualhydrocarboncomponentsexceptforthosehydrocarbontypesforwhichthereisonlyonecomponentwithinacarbonnumber.Individuallydeterminedhydrocarbonsarebenzene,toluene,cyclopentane,propane,propylene,andcyclopentene.PrecisiondatahasonlybeenobtainedonsamplescontainingMTBE.Applicationofthistestmethodtodetermineotheroxygenatesshallbeverifiedintheuser'slaboratory.MethanolcannotbedeterminedandshallbequantitatedbyanappropriateoxygenatemethodsuchasTestMethodD4815orD5599.Methanolisfullyresolvedanddoesnotinterferewiththedeterminationofothercomponentsorgroups.Althoughspecificallywrittenforspark-ignitionenginefuelscontainingoxygenates,thistestmethodcanalsobeappliedtootherhydrocarbonstreamshavingsimilarboilingranges,suchasnaphthasandreformates.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
